I decided to go with Paladino as the final brand name. I noticed that a lot of companies e.g. Ben and Jerry's name the brand just after either their own names or some pretty basic name. This led to the idea of naming it after myself. That felt a little bit conceited, so I tried just putting my name into translate from Hungarian (where I'm from) to English and it said that it meant paladin. After this I thought about the consumer, they want something healthy that fits in with their lifestyle. I did some research into ice creams and found that gelato is quite a bit healthier as it doesn't use eggs or cream which lowers the fat content. Gelato is Italian for ice-cream so to fit the theme I decided to change the name to paladino which is Italian for paladin. I found this name very fitting because paladins are, by definition "any knightly or heroic champion." I could definitely include this into the manifesto by saying something such as 'a warrior against weight' or 'fight like a warrior'.
